EUROPA 2 Summer Specials: New International Marketing Campaign for selected 2015 Mediterranean Cruises

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has introduced its new marketing campaign “EUROPA 2 Summer Specials”, promoting a selection of seven Mediterranean cruises between June and August 2015. In addition to online banner advertisements and a separate brochure, the campaign has its own dedicated website: at www.europa2-summer-specials.com, the relevant cruises are presented in a storytelling format. Not only does the site provide information about the ship, the route, prices and the various types of suite, but also about lifestyle and insider tips on excursions at each of the ports.

Among other benefits, the EUROPA 2 Summer Specials guarantee guests attractive savings of up to 30 % when booking a Veranda or Ocean Suite or a Grand Ocean or Penthouse Suite. The special offer applies to bookings made by 31 December 2014.

Julian Pfitzner, Director of Product Management for MS EUROPA 2 and responsible for the Marketing Services department at Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, describes the new marketing strategy: “Hapag-Lloyd Cruises was able to increase its international guest base by 60 % between 2013 and October 2014. We have a very high satisfaction rate among our international guests, and we want to increase further this international guest base, looking to create more awareness by focusing on our newest luxury cruise ship, the EUROPA 2. The new online campaign showcases seven different cruises with the EUROPA 2 for summer 2015, offering guests inspirational experiences at a total of 20 Mediterranean destinations.”
